About Safe Casino Sites

Who We Are

Safe Casino Sites is a small independent review desk covering online casinos that accept players in the United States. The site is written and tested by Elliot Nakashima, Casino Safety and Security Tester based in Jacksonville, Florida. There is no larger editorial team and no anonymous contributor pool — one person deposits the money, requests the withdrawals and writes the reviews, and her name is on every page.

We started because the existing options for checking whether a casino was trustworthy were either operator marketing or affiliate pages that ranked sites by commission. Neither tells you whether the cashier pays.

How We Make Money

When you follow a link from this site to an operator and open an account, we may receive a commission. That is the entire business model and we would rather state it plainly than bury it.

What that commission does not do is buy a position. We do not accept payment for ranking order, we do not let operators review copy before it publishes, and we name the downsides of every site we recommend — including the ones we rank first. Several operators pay above-average commission and do not appear on this site at all, because they failed a withdrawal test.

How We Test

Every site is funded with our own money. We deposit between $50 and $250, play a genuine session, request a withdrawal and time it end to end. We read the full terms before writing, with particular attention to wagering multiples, maximum cashout caps, per-transaction limits and the clauses that allow an operator to void winnings.

We do not publish numeric ratings. A score out of ten implies a precision we do not have, and it is trivially gamed. Instead we rank on withdrawal reliability and terms quality, and we explain the reasoning in the review so you can disagree with it.

We also do not state per-brand payout times as fact. Withdrawal speed depends on your rail, your verification status and the operator's queue on the day. Where we give a figure it is what happened in our own test, described as such.

Corrections

If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say that we did. Operators are welcome to dispute a characterisation — email info@safecasinosites.com and include the clause or the transaction reference. We have corrected reviews on operator evidence before and will again.
